This Week in Mrs Kirchner's class

This week in Mrs. Kirchner's class we will be doing the following:

Social Studies: We will be discussing Eloise Greenfield. Eloise Greenfield is an African American author who writes children books. She mostly writes in poetry style. She was born in North Carolina but lived most of her life in Washington, DC.

Grammar: We will continue learning about verb tenses. We will start learning about future tense verbs.

Writing: We will continue to talk about writing a main idea/ topic sentence from a certain topic. they will learn how to use supporting details for the reader to figure out what the topic sentence is about.

This week, they received a reading log and spelling words.
