This week in Mrs. Zimmer’s Class!
We are beginning to learn about 2-dimensional shapes in Math. We are learning to distinguish defining and
non-defining attributes of shapes. For
example, rectangles have four sides and four corners. A square is a special kind of rectangle with
all sides the same length.
In Science, we are finishing up our chapter about Energy!
Students will receive a review sheet for homework the day before the test, and
we will play a review game in class to prepare.
Looking at the lesson review worksheets is also a great way to prepare
for the test and explains the main idea of each lesson.
In Health, we will be learning about the four food groups (fruits
& vegetables, grain products, meat & alternatives, milk &
alternatives.) Students will be sorting pictures of food into the 4 food groups
in their interactive notebooks.
